What Is The Family Friendly Kitchen and Cook. Eat. Repeat.?
Everyone needs to eat, EVERY DAY. More than once in fact! And even for those of us who love cooking, it still means planning, finding recipes, shopping and then preparing the food. There is so much great content out there, that it is hard to keep up, and to find things that will work. Cook. Eat. Repeat. is the newsletter that does it for you. I scour the web, magazines, cookbooks etc., and bring you quality, bite sized content so you know what to make.
The Family Friendly Kitchen is my homebase. It’s where you’ll also find information about events, other services, content etc to help streamline this whole “we need to eat thing.”
Who I Am
Think of me as that friend who is really into food or that mom at school that you talk food with at drop off. The one you ask for recipes and trust the suggestions will be winners.
I care passionately about food and feeding my family, but in a laid back lets not make ourselves crazy kind of a way.
Before launching Cook. Eat. Repeat and The Family Friendly Kitchen I taught cooking classes to kids, did marketing for a food magazine, created a food and chef- centric board game, ran an online dining guide, started a nonprofit and cooked A LOT.
What You Will Find Here
Great family friendly recipes that are simple to make, use real ingredients and won’t break the bank (plus the occasional more involved ones for when you have oodles of time and desire). Tried and true ways to make feeding your family go as smoothy as possible.
How Is This Newsletter/Site Different
There are tons of food websites, blogs etc out there. And many are great. Some are cutesy with their food, some are themed (ie vegan, gluten-free). Most have created their own recipes.
I am not a recipe developer. There is no need when there is SO MUCH great content out there already. I connect relevant, TESTED content to you, so you can feed your family day in and day out, without feeling like you are spending all your time doing so. And in the process I will introduce you to some blogs, books etc that you may not otherwise have discovered.
There will also be some awesome family food events and other services along the way.
Who You Are
You are a smart parent who cares about what you and your family eat. You want to make good food without breaking the bank, or spending all day in the kitchen or on the Internet looking for recipes. You likely read some blogs and cookbooks, but know there is much more content than you can keep up with, and wish there was a way to vet recipes. You want someone to say “hey I made this and it was great, you should try it!”
Cook. Eat. Repeat. Join us, for family food without the whine.
